Gurukul Mind Valley School was established in 2022 under the leadership of the Sri Pachayil Sasidharan Foundation. The CBSE syllabus from Pre-KG to Class 10, taught in English in small classes. Malayalam and Hindi start in kindergarten, and Pre-KG, which opened this month, runs as its own separate session.
A Montessori approach: learning through play, rhymes, stories and the senses.
Strong reading, writing and number work, with Science and Social Science from Class 3.
Physics, Chemistry and Biology taught as separate subjects from Class 7.
Preparation for the Class 10 board examination, with Malayalam as second language.
The year has two semesters. In each, children sit two formative assessments and a semester exam, and parents receive a report card at the end of each semester.
